ISLAMABAD: The government has set up a committee headed by ISI Director General Rizwan Akhtar and National Security Advisor Lt Gen (Retd) Nasir Januja to discuss with provincial authorities the strategy chalked out by civilian and military leadership in a bid to neutralise Jihadis and other militant organizations.
According to Geo News, the civil and military leadership has devised a three-point strategy to tackle militant organisations in the country. The three points are :(1) Completely disarming these orginsations and sending a clear message to their financiers to stop funding them. (2) Providing a way for large organisations to be incorporated into the political main stream. (3) Finding ways for the promotion of moral and welfare activities of these organisations.
