Five reasons why US-Israel military deal stinks
US’ benevolent claims on security, peace, compromise and friendship are false if not intentionally misleading.

This could be another reason for the aid given:
Israel anticipates 230,000 incoming missiles during next war. May also be the reason why they are having evacuation exercises.
It would help if the US would stop supporting Israel’s enemies. It is counterproductive. US gives $4.5+ billion in aid to the Palestinians. Which is the world’s largest per capita of foreign aid, for what reason? And let’s not forget the money we keep giving Iran, which funds Hamas and Hezbollah. All wish to wipe Israel out. And then there is ISIS itching to attack. They have become good friends ISIS and Hamas
Also we have the same enemies as we do and in an extremely hostile area.
Just a couple of days ago rockets were fired at Israel from Gaza. And what Israel is not supposed to respond. They have every right to defend themselves and go after those that attack them. Hamas hides in schools, hospitals, behind women and children.

US does not benefit in any way by giving to Gaza.
If it was not for Israel, US would have to send thousands of soldiers, costing billions of dollars every year. They have the most effective military in the region and the most cost effective. Israel is the largest aircraft carrier for the US and does not require one American soldier.
The US does benefit from giving to Israel too. Israel has provided to the US $50-80 billion in intelligence, research, and development savings.
Much of the aid that is given to Israel is recycled back into the American economy. Israel is not a burden. And Israel is the only stable country in ME. And their bases are always opened to us. Can we say the same for Turkey. We all remember what happened to the base there.
